(If you do not know my address, feel comfortable DMing me to ask my address, expect to see me at an event, or know anyone likely to see me who could pass an item along, we probably don't know each other well enough for gifts to be appropriate. That's why this is straightforwardly a list, and not a proxy service.)
- adorable skull hairpin and other realisations of this concept. I also like the creepily realistic ones.
- dressy goth hair clip
- understated floral hair clips in dark colours
- wool for spinning, in colours that will be nice to look at and handle while spinning. many other suppliers and colourways are available, this is merely an indication of the type of thing.
- pretty drop spindles. I like the kind with a hook and the whorl near the top.
- necklaces, especially pendants, either goth-y things such as this darling moth creature or plain polished stone or fused glass like this.
- nerdy graphic tees. black, grey, or dark red base colours for preference. size 2XL straight cut from most manufacturers. many other suppliers exist.
- Chocolate. you don't need a link for this. you know what chocolate is. I especially like fancy little selection boxes but really, chocolate. never unwelcome. (Except for no mint, please.)
- fancy hot chocolate device
- entertainingly inaccurate plastic animal skeletons. the more wrong the bones are the better.
- a steampunk-y compass
- USB computer memory, for my podcasting habit
- camping airbed. Exact model doesn't matter but it must be single width with built-in pump.
- art prints you like and think I'd like
Books!
paperbacks, paperbacks please, I just don't like hardcover as much and ebooks do not provide me with the joy of owning an object.
they get their own section because of Books.
- He Who Drowned The World
- Translation State
- The Just City & sequels (Jo Walton's Thessaly trilogy, ideally as individual books)
- Piranesi
- in non-fiction, I am interested in history of manufacturing, history of fashion, history of food, deep seas, and outer space.
